There is no need for conventional chlorination with commercial chemicals.
Technopool systems have proven their value for many years in private homes, hotels, therapeutic and exercise pools, as well as municipal and commercial pools, both indoors and outdoors.
Chlorine electrolysis systems in inline operation use salt for disinfection. Different types of salt may be used: sea salt, rock salt, brine etc. A low salt content of just 0.4 % is sufficient to produce enough hypochlorous acid to reliably disinfect swimming pool water.
The TECHNOMAT system can be operated independently from the filter system. It is started without interfering with the pool technology. The electrolysis cell is simply suspended in the pool and the power cable plugged into the control unit. For a salt concentration of 0.3% upwards, corresponding to 3 grams NaCl per liter of pool water.
The TECHNOMAT PS can be easily operated and is reliable. The use of a commercial time switch with correct setting ensures that the system only produces hypochlorous acid when it is needed. The current output of the control unit can be continuously adjusted between 0 and 100 % in order to adapt the disinfection capacity of the TECHNOMAT PS if there are weather changes or if dirt is carried into the swimming pool water.
The maintenance effort for the TECHNOMAT PS is very low: Apart from the removal of lime scale that may be produced on the electrodes of the electrolytic cell depending on the hardness of the swimming pool water, the system is maintenance free.
The TECHNOMAT PS disinfects the swimming pool water in a safe, economical and environmentally friendly way. Chlorine chemicals in conventional pool systems are not only a cost factor. An improper use of chemicals may also lead to environmental damage or accidents. Such costs and risks are avoided by using the Technopool-system.
With the Technoline SC11 / SC14, the electrolysis cell is installed directly in the piping. This system is extensively self-cleaning, as the calcium deposits are dissolved from the titanium plates when reversing the polarity of the electrolysis cell.
The cell is no larger than a compact disc and permits cost-efficient replacement of the anode without having to replace the entire cell.

The generation of hypochlorous acid takes place in an electrolytic cell installed in a bypass of the clean water pipe. It is controlled via an instrumentation and control system with continuous controller output with PI control response from 4 to 20 mA.
Each electrolytic cell in the electrolytic systems Technostar 2000 ST, 2000 AT and 4000 AX+ can be equipped with a temperature sensor for temperature control. This sensor stops the generation of chlorine in the electrolytic cells at a temperature of 45 °C. When the temperature falls, the system automatically continues with the generation of chlorine.
The electrolysis cells are extensively self-cleaning. The titanium plates in the electrolysis cells can be replaced. The cells can be reprocessed several times.
